LinkedIn connection
Data: Member/organisation ID, scopes, token, drafts, approval/publishing records and permitted metrics.

Ground: User request, contractual service and legitimate security/account-management interests.

Scope
This notice applies to website visitors, project and contact enquiries, job applicants, supplier representatives, people connecting the RESET Social Agent to LinkedIn, and people who otherwise communicate with Reset.
Data categories
Identity and contact
Name, email, phone, company, role and communication preferences.
Requests and projects
Messages, briefs, service interests, meeting and proposal information.
Careers
CV, LinkedIn profile, portfolio, position and application statements.
Suppliers
Company details, references, categories, locations and uploaded presentations.
Technical data
IP address, browser/device information, timestamps and security logs.
LinkedIn integration
Member or organisation identifiers, permission scopes, access tokens, content, approval/publishing records and metrics available through the authorised API.
Reset does not see or store your LinkedIn password. Connections use LinkedIn’s secure OAuth authorisation flow.
Purposes and legal grounds
- responding to enquiries and managing proposals, meetings and projects,
- assessing job and supplier applications,
- protecting the website, systems and accounts,
- creating, reviewing, scheduling and publishing authorised LinkedIn content,
- maintaining publishing history and reporting permitted performance information,
- meeting legal obligations and protecting legal rights.
Processing is based, as applicable, on steps requested before or under a contract, legal obligations, the establishment or defence of legal rights, legitimate interests that do not override fundamental rights, and consent where it is specifically required.
How data is collected
Data may be collected through website forms, email, phone, meetings, uploaded documents, server/security logs, LinkedIn OAuth and APIs, and other information you provide directly.
Retention
Data is retained only for the period required by the relevant purpose and applicable legal limitation or record-keeping requirements. It is deleted, destroyed or anonymised when there is no longer a valid reason to retain it.
LinkedIn access tokens are revoked and securely removed when the connection is disconnected, the permission expires, or a deletion request is completed.
Security
We use appropriate measures such as role-based access, secure connections, logging, encryption where appropriate, backups and software updates. No internet transmission can be guaranteed completely risk-free.
LinkedIn integration and deletion
The RESET Social Agent uses only official LinkedIn APIs and the permissions you grant. It does not scrape profiles or use unauthorised browser automation.
You can remove the connection in LinkedIn under Settings & Privacy → Data Privacy → Other applications → Permitted Services. Removing the service stops future access.
Email us with the subject “LinkedIn Data Deletion Request”. After verifying identity and authority, we will remove applicable tokens and records that must be deleted.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access, correction, deletion or destruction, information about recipients, objection to certain automated outcomes, and compensation for unlawful processing. Requests may require proportionate identity verification.
